About

Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to master plan a wide variety of projects including urban and residential communities, neighborhoods, numerous public parks, apartments and condominium complexes, a luxury hotel and an eco-resort. I am adept at compiling and analyzing data on site conditions, preparing site plans, construction drawings, and cost estimates. Having lived in various regions of the country, I have developed a strong understanding of how to incorporate drastically different regulatory agency and zoning code requirements. I have produced design guidelines, master plan and planned development (PUD) documents. I have worked with LEED consultants, Zoning and Land Use Consultants and other Landscape Design consultants on a variety of projects throughout Multnomah County.

I am proficient at producing comprehensive and informative presentation materials to communicate complex projects; preparing hand and computer graphic illustrations, renderings and models for marketing and client presentations. I have facilitated and attended multiple community workshops and design charrettes over the years.

In Portland, I have developed a strong working relation with Lewis and Clark College as an independent contractor; working on a wide array of projects throughout the campus.  I have also developed professional associations with various consulting firms, landscape designers, landscape service business owners and home owners. However, my greatest aspiration is to work on public projects that have long-term implications on improving the daily lives of all individuals by providing a safe, natural environment to live, work and recreate.
