About

A full portfolio of my work completed at The University of Massachusetts can be found on my linked in page. www.linkedin.com/pub/philip-mangone/86/824/770/

My name is Phil Mangone and I recently earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture and Design. I am located in Fairfield County, Connecticut. I am a hard working individual who is determined to pursue a career in the design field. Eager learn more, I am currently looking for an entry-level position. This opportunity will allow me to utilize my creativity while gaining experience within the field. I would like to progress in my career with a successful organization, as well as advance my skills in the area of design and space planning in general.

Through the work I have done at the University of Massachusetts, I have learned that designing is strategic problem solving. I believe that the entire design process is just as important as the final product. I am experienced with each step of the design process; research, concept development, site/space analysis, and presentation. My skills also include collaborative work; hand drawing, computer aided design, as well as clear communication of ideas and projects.

I am a very family oriented individual, and look to my father as my biggest role model. He has taught me to be a hardworking, dedicated, and a determined individual. He came to this country, taught himself English, and went on to receive his Masters in Psychology at The University of Connecticut.  I am a very friendly person that seems to get along with just about everybody. I relentlessly seek perfection, spending countless hours making sure my projects are completed to the best of my ability. I am not comfortable presenting any work that I feel could have used more attention. I know that with the combination of my design skills and enthusiastic personality, I would make a great addition to your organization.
