I am a recent graduate of Xavier University, majoring in Marketing and International Business. During my time with the university, I participated in the Pep Band all four years (I play trombone, and I've heard every joke in the book on my instrument of choice), working as a liaison to athletics and a coordinator for the social media account. I also was able to experience two international study abroad programs, one in Ireland and one India, as my profile picture shows.
My work history focuses on predominantly marketing, but in a variety of different settings, from product planning to building a social media plan from the ground up to mass mailing and legal clerk work. My passion at the end of the day is the internet, and where we can take digital and social media marketing for business in the near future.
Though I've had no formal training, I have self-taught myself some HTML and CSS, mainly using Photoshop and InDesign. I would love to combine what I've taught myself and my undergraduate studies to pursue further education in digital communications in the near future.
I also love music, I have a long suffering passion for my long suffering Cleveland sports teams (another subject on which I've heard every joke in the book), I've been known to enjoy a craft brew or two, I'm looking to try and run a 5K or beyond in the next year, but above all else, I hope to make 2014 the year I kickstart my career and begin getting things into motion.
