• Independently design and manage projects that vary from single-family residential and small commercial to large scale multi-family residential and mixed-use historic adaptation.

• Engage in all facets of the design process from initial conception and client meetings through construction administration.

• Responsible for the creation and submission of zoning, planning, historic, and final building department drawings. Appear before local historic boards to present projects.

• Review shop drawings, attend site meetings, and monitor progress during construction.

• Personally coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and officials as the primary contact for each project.

Below are a few project types that I have worked on and managed:

- Commercial: Fit-out of a national chain restaurant on the first floor of a Manhattan hotel; A salon in a renovated historic Hoboken space; New construction of a Hoboken credit union’s headquarters

- Single-Family Residential: Apartment combination and complete redesign on Manhattan’s Upper West Side; Gut-renovation and addition to a Hoboken brownstone

- Small Multi-Family Residential: Several modern 25 ft. wide Hoboken residential buildings ranging from 2 to 4 units each; A new 20 ft. wide, 5-story stacked-duplex in Jersey City

- Medium Multi-Family Residential: New 22,500 sq. ft., 6 unit Hoboken condo building on corner lot; New 18,000 sq. ft., 6 unit Hoboken condo building seeking LEED certification

- Mixed-Use Adaptive Reuse: Conversion of a historic former telecom and police station building in Jersey City into 16 apartments with a restaurant, bar, and market at street level; Conversion of and addition to a 200,000 sq. ft. former bakery complex in Hoboken for residential and commercial use

Change Administration, Long Island City, NY, US, Designer

• Start-up Urban Design Firm

• Researched site conditions and demographic changes through community engagement to create a new pedestrian plaza in Corona, Queens

• Worked directly under the organization's founder, an urban planner, within a few months of its creation at NYDesigns (http://nydesigns.org/). Collaboration with DSGN AGNC (http://dsgnagnc.com/).

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh, Newburgh, NY, US, Volunteer

• Assisted in the demolition and construction of rowhouses in Newburgh, NY and led groups of volunteers. Hands-on work in framing, demolition, flooring, and preservation.

John Stewardson Memorial Scholarship, University Nomination, Nomination

• An annual 10 day charette competition open to all fifth year B.Arch candidates, masters students, and recent alumni of accredited architecture programs in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Paul M. Kossman Thesis Award, 1st Place

• Winner of the Penn State Department of Architecture's highest honor for 5th-year thesis.

• Selected in competition by a jury of established architects and academics after development of a research and design topic over the course of a year.

• Annual French urban design competition.
Shortlisted by an international jury of experts into a group of thirty finalists.

Penn State Design Excellence Award, Award

• Established by Penn State’s Department of Architecture to recognize design students who consistently exhibit excellence in the two semesters of the design studios within a given year.
