Project architect for:
Combo Cooler Expansion - 6,500 sf expansion to a pork processing facility
storage cooler to provide additional space for product re-packaging.
Export Cooler Addition - a 15,600 sf of 20°addition to a pork processing facility cooler
space to accommodate pre-packaged product for overseas distribution.
Equilibration Bay #10 Addition - 8,000 sf of 28° addition to equilibration bay while
maintaining operations in the existing EQ bays.

Optimum Nutrition “Project Gorilla” Facility Renovation, Aurora, IL
Team architect for a 9,500 square foot renovation to an existing 138,000
square foot production plant facility for Optimum Nutrition in Aurora,
Illinois. Design included multiple interior modifications
to Optimum’s Building 600, which resulted in the creation of a
new packaging area room, a new blender room dedicated for allergen
segregation, and a new sifter room.

Optimum Nutrition “Project Explode” Facility Renovation & Retrofit, Aurora, IL
Team architect for a 595,000 square feet renovation of an existing
warehouse distribution facility into a powder process plant facility for
Optimum Nutrition, Inc. The new renovated facility will ultimately produce
approximately 60 million pounds of finished goods at full buildout.
In addition to the renovation of existing facility, the project will
also add approximately 32,000 square feet to the building’s total area
in order to accommodate and support Optimum Nutrition’s unique
powder processes.
The project is located in Aurora, Illinois, on a 41-acre site within the
Meridian Business Campus, Optimum Nutrition’s “new” powder process
plant facility will be comprised of the following program components:
Three-story blender pods, QA lab, raw materials storage, COP
and drying rooms, maintenance shop, 12 incoming and 12 outgoing
docks, boiler & chiller room, offices, cafeteria, dust collection rooms,
packaging and filling rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, uniform room,
training room, whey rooms, pre-weigh rooms, battery charging area,
and warehouse area.

Triscuit Seasoning, Kraft Foods North America Inc., Naperville, IL
Project Architect for interior build-out including selective
demolition for new metal panel enclosure which was constructed
inside the existing facility. Developed complete set of construction
documents including code review.

Bridgestone Prototype Store, St. Charles, IL
Project Architect for new retail store concept for
Bridgestone. Project lead for developing construction
documents.

R&D Lab Relocation Sensient Flavors, Inc., Juneau, WI
Project Architect for selective demolition and the upgrade
of existing storage space for new R&D Laboratory.
Developed a set of conceptual plans, scope of work, code
review and design criteria for the project.

Anheuser-Bush World Headquarters Offices, St. Louis, MO
Technical Architect for interior renovation and reconfiguration,
including selective demolition of 10 floors, totaling approximately
380,000 SF. Developed construction documents including details
and participated in code review.

Corn Products International, Bedford Park, IL
Technical Architect for “Dry Starch Capital Improvement Project”
that involved the relocation of the modified starch production
from the National Starch (NS) facility in Indianapolis to the
Corn Products International (CPI) Argo Plant in Bedford Park.
The architectural scope included a new two story Starch
Production Building – approximately 14,000 SF in total area
and 800 SF building addition to the existing Substation Building.
Responsible for the development of construction documents including
exterior and interior detailing and CAD coordination.

Valent BioSciences Corporation, Osage, IA
Team Architect for a new state-of-the-art fermentation manufacturing
facility in Osage, Iowa, for the production of biorational agricultural,
horticultural, public health and forestry products. This facility will be
the largest single investment of any company in the world to
support the manufacturing and formulating of biorational products.
The “Process Facility Site” is to include four separate buildings
and/or structures besides pipe racks, tank basins, pads, or dikes.
Besides the main process building that includes the administration
and laboratory functions, there will be an electrical yard for
incoming power, a WWTF, and Central Utility Building (CUB).
The electrical yard and WWTF will be provided by others.
The CUB will be a one storey building, 30,395 SF in area,
located south of the main process building.
The main process building will include six (6) general areas;
namely, Lab/Administration, Fermentation Process areas 1 and 2,
Recovery, Truck Loadout, and Warehouse areas.
The total first floor area for the areas noted above is 84,385 SF.
Responsibilities included the development of the construction
documents and miscellaneous detailing utilizing Revit skills.

LFI (Developer), Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts,
McDonalds, Enterprise-Rent-A-car, Potbelly.

Iscar Ingersoll, Rockford, IL
Technical Architect for tool bit manufacturing and office
complex. The site was comprised of two manufacturing
buildings, one at 100,000 SF and the other at 124,000 SF.
A 55,000 SF marketing/administration building with
an auditorium and showroom is also located on the
approximately 30 acre site. Developed construction
documents and details as well as participated in code
review.

Woodfield Lexus
Roesnick Automotive Group, Schaumburg, IL
Project Architect for this state-of-the-art car dealership
(including showroom, misc. offices, service area and
multi-level parking garage). Leading role with the
development of construction documents including
exterior and interior detailing and CAD coordination.

Aramark, Chicago, IL
Technical Architect for commercial laundry. The facility
consists of 82,000 SF of production area and docks on
the first floor, 38,000 SF of processing space on the
second floor, a 16,000 SF stockroom and 14,000 SF of
office space. The plant also has an 11,000 SF vehicle
maintenance facility. Participated in development of
construction documents and details.

WinCo Foods, Inc., Ceres, CA
Technical Architect for 900,000 sf full-line grocery distribution center.
Developed construction documents and CAD coordination.
Triumph Foods LLC, St. Joseph, MO
Project Architect for the country’s largest pork processing
facility for Triumph Foods LLC, a consortium of 40 large
Midwestern hog farmers, who invested $130 million
to build this facility. Responsible for development of
construction documents, overseeing younger team members
work and CAD coordination.

Ruiz Foods Products, Denison, TX
Technical Architect for remodeling, renovation and adaptive
re-use of a 262,000 SF vacant Pillsbury Foods plant into
a frozen Mexican entrée production facility for Ruiz Foods
Products. The scope of work included coordination and
installation of all process equipment, the replacement of
the aging sanitary and process infrastructure, upgrading
all site utilities including new electrical and natural gas
services to meet new refrigeration and process equipment
demands, conversion of a 48,000 SF, 32 degree cooler
into a -10 degree freezer, construction of a new boiler
room and refrigeration room, and the installation of
new state-of-the-art automated process equipment for
production, packaging and distribution of a wide variety
of frozen Burritos, Taquitos and Roller Grill products.
Developed construction documents and cold storage
details and participated in code review.

Zlote Tarasy Sp., Warsaw, Poland
Technical Architect for this mixed-use development,
2,400,000 SF development located on a site adjacent to
the Central Railway Station of Warsaw and consisting of a
multiplex cinema, multi-level retail (including restaurants,
service, and department stores), a high-rise office building
and a 1400-car underground parking space.
The Zlote Tarasy features one of the largest glass roofs
in the world comprised of hundreds of pie-shape wedges,
none of which are identical. Developed misc. interior
details for office buildings.
