Robert received his Master of Architecture from Tulane University, with cum laude distinction, in 2014. During his study at Tulane, he demonstrated a passion for co-curricular research ranging in scale and discipline. Notably, from 2012-14, he received three separate grants to study multiple scales of architecture. The topics included material research in rapid prototyping, harbor redevelopment in northern Europe, and mitigating global desertification by developing resiliency in the built environment.
In 2014, Robert accepted a project designer/3D visualizer position at award-winning architecture firm FR-EE (Fernando Romero EnterprisE) in Mexico City. There he worked closely with Romero developing cultural and residential projects. These included the new Latin American Art Museum (LAAM) in Miami, Florida; Museo Mazatlan in Mazatlan, Mexico; and EE Miami Tower for Grammy-award winning composer and producer Emilio Estefan.
Currently, Robert is an architect at One to One Design, LLC in the culturally vibrant city of New Orleans. He serves as a project designer on a wide scope of projects. His projects have included a 13 acre corporate master plan, 90,000 sq ft office building, single family homes, and digital fabrication/rationalization for local artists. During 2015-16’ Robert was an adjunct faculty member at Tulane University teaching architectural representation. Robert took a break from teaching to focus on professional licensure which he completed in late 2017.
When Robert isn’t designing and teaching architecture you will find him on the golf course, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
