About 

My career with Lockheed Martin spans over a period of 25 years. During this period I have served in a variety of engineering and project management positions.  As an engineer over the past 20 years I have been responsible design, modification, operations and sustainment of a variety of mechanical ground support systems for key  launch facilities at VAFB.  I have an extensive background in project management in which I have been responsible for a variety of different projects over the past 25 years. I have worked on many facility infrastructure projects including the Space Shuttle Launch Complex at VAFB CA, construction and activation of the west coast Titan launch facility and support infrastructure. I have lead many special projects that involve cost proposal development, customer requested assessments, special studies and strategic roadmap planning. In 2007 I earned the designation of "Project Management Professional (PMP)" through PMI.

Supported local Lockheed Martin business unit as a project lead on several mission critical hardware
procurement projects involving unique custom build equipment. My duties included management of
program budget, schedule, requirements, and coordination with key customers and stakeholders. Served as the deputy program manager on a $20M program involving manufacture of a spacecraft transporter. This project involved management of several manufacturing subcontracts, integration of several complex
support systems, and application of unique materials, manufacturing processes and testing requirements. Worked with senior management to establish a PMO to support local business unit’s project manifest.

Lockheed Martin Mission Services, Vandenberg AFB, CA, Project Engineer - Staff

On the Payload Launch Support Services (PLSSS) contract, I performed project management on a variety of launch based infrastructure and facility projects. My duties include requirements development, budget and costing, coordination, planning, task integration, task execution and monitoring and project closure. I provide support to management and government customers in the development of tactical and strategic infrastructure plans, and conduct special studies as required by the Customer and management.I served as a project engineer on various facility construction, activation, repair and upgrade projects ranging from $500K to several million dollars in size. I conducted various special projects and studies in support of the Customer and management. I also served as a systems engineer under the PLSSS contract performing management and operation of various industrial launch base ground systems at Vandenberg AFB. Duties included design, test engineering and operations support.

Served as a project engineer in the ground operations group under the LSPS contract. Duties included project management and integration on various size facilities modification projects. Developed project cost estimates, plans and design packages in support of launch base infrastructure and support facilities. Worked closely with customers and other government agencies to ensure effective task integration and executionWorked activation of several government payload-processing facilities at VAFB including the activation of the Space Launch Complex (SLC) 4E Titian IV launch pad. Prepared mechanical designs and sustainment program for various launch support facilities and systems. Provided engineering support in troubleshooting and repairs on various mechanical and electrical systems. Managed and directed technical side of several modification subcontracts.

Performed technical monitoring of subcontractors performing facility modifications to the Space
Shuttle Launch Pad at VAFB, CA. Duties included: technical support of installations, change
Order negotiations, scheduling, documentation of site conditions and integration with site
Operations. Supported launch pad ground systems operations at a test engineer at Kennedy
Space Center (Florida) and VAFB (California).
