About 

Currently a student at North Carolina State University majoring in Architecture.  I am looking for networking with other Architects and professionals for possible employment and interning.  I am very hard working and extremely eager to learn.  My main Proficiencies are 3D digital modeling and hand model making.  I also really enjoy digital rendering through Podium and photoshop rendering.  Another love of mine is music as I can play multiple instruments including violin, cello, and guitar.   My email is jhwall@ncsu.edu and my cell is 252-450-9264.  

Employment 

HH-Architecture, Raleigh, NC, Archirtectural Intern

Architectural intern completing tasks such as schematic design, construction documents, architectural detailing and various other aspects of design. Have worked on several projects and a few carried from pre design to construction administration.

Tonic Design | Tonic Construction, Raleigh, NC, US, Architectural Intern

Architectural intern mostly dealing with schematic and pre design components. Mostly projects were contemporary single family houses and many tasks were 3D modeling and digital rendering to produce visuals for client interaction. Also during my time here, I have gained a considerable amount of construction knowledge by actively building and observing on site construction seeing that Tonic is a Design-Build firm.

SAS Institute inc., Cary, NC, US, Project and Design Intern

Working with the scenic operations group at SAS my main tasks were assisting in modeling and designing components for the companies exhibition and trade show events held globally. I worked on and designed components anywhere from custom mounting plates to room and conference assemblies for these exhibitions.

An Undergraduate in the College of Design majoring in Architecture. The four years cover many topics in design, and creation of architectural pieces and projects. Many vary in scale and size all while incorporating the skills of conceptualizing, visual rendering, and producing physical designs that manifest themselves in the form of models and drawings. After the BEDA program, I plan to continue my studies in the 5th year, Bachelors of Architecture for my professional architectural degree.

NCSU Prague Institute, Prague, Czech Republic, Study Abroad

Through N.C. State School of Architecture, I studied International Design and Urban design in Prague. The Project consisted of observing and experiencing a local site and through observing the culture, address a problem with the site and through architecture, attempt to solve these issues. While abroad I travelled to many neighboring countries including, Switzerland, Budapest Hungary, Copenhagen Denmark, Berlin Germany, Vienna Austria, Malmo Sweden, and several others. While in these places I was able to observe the true variety that takes place in European Architecture
