I am an architectural professional, holding both Bachelor of Science and Master Degrees in Architecture from the University of Illinois. Since 2008, I have been an independent freelancer, working for clients around the globe on projects of varying sizes. I also have a background and education in graphic design and studio photography. I find my work rewarding but definitely want to once again work in an architectural firm that offers more opportunities for growth and expansion of knowledge.

I started Pthalo Dezin in 1999 as an avenue for my creative endeavors with my clients. It became a full time effort in 2008 and I have utilized multiple online communities to acquire work around the globe.
My recent work has ranged from architectural consulting to rendering services, but the bulk of my work has been with residential design and renovation work. All aspects of Pthalo Dezin have fallen under my control from clerical to production drawing sets.
Development Design Group Inc, Baltimore, MD, US, Project Designer
During my time at Development Design Group, I worked primarily on multi-plex theater projects, including work for Muvico Theaters and Shattuck Theaters. My worked ranged from coordination with the interior designers to construction document production. On at least one project, I worked with the Project Architect to create 3D visualizations of our proposed project, intended for meetings with the client.
Employment ended in November 2008 due to workforce reduction layoffs.
Browning Day Mullins Deirdorf Architects, Indianapolis, IN, US, Graduate Architect
I worked primarily on the production of construction documents for several projects of varying types and sizes. Project types included multi-family residential, medical office building, sports complex, casinos, residential renovation and office remodeling. On multiple occasions, I met with clients and consultants and worked with collaborative teams during both design and production phases.
Employment ended in October 2007 due to workforce reduction layoffs.
