About

I graduated on June 2012 as a Cum Laude from the Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture at the City College of New York, and  obtained my Bachelor of Architecture Degree and was awarded best thesis project in my studio. I recently moved from New York City to San Diego and am currently working towards my Architectural license.

I worked as a full time Junior Architectural Designer at Gerner Kronick and Valcarcel, Architects, PC. Some of the projects I worked on included a mixed-use office building renovation, a mixed-use building for a non-profit organization, and a residential tower.

Right after graduating, I worked at the Department of Design and Construction for the city of New York; where I gained some experience as an assistant project manager helping overlook various projects from bidding and negotiation to construction phases.

In addition, I had the opportunity to gain hands on-construction experience by participating as a member of Team New York and built the Solar Roofpod, a modular net zero house for the DOE Solar Decathlon 2011 Competition.

Other valuable experiences include, working as an assistant designer for NYC Custom Furniture-ERA Interiors, where I was in charge of creating 3D models, realistic renderings and preparing furniture drawings. I have also entered several international design competitions such as: a pavilion in Zuzemberk, Slovenia; a Library in Rosario, Argentina; and sustainable house in Washington D.C.
