I am a working student but that doesn't keep me from having fun. If I had it my way, I would travel once a month to somewhere new. My passions include photography, architecture, the outdoors, swimming, animals, and of course, my family. I was brought up in an English speaking family but decided to become bilingual with French in college. I've studied abroad in Paris as well. Jobs that I would love to pursue varry from, magizine editing, and newspaper journalism, to fine art and fashion photography, as well as interior design, architecture, and restoration of fench chateaux.

The server position requires professionalism meshed with people skills in order to create an experience for quests that makes them want to return again. This is done by critical time management and planning ahead in order to make sure a guest never has to ask for anything because the server was one step ahead of them. I've taken the role as one of the primary servers who works especially with large parties ranging from 10 to 24 individuals at one given time. A great server is only as good as his co-worker in the sense that teamwork is the key component in the restaurant business. A server does anything from cleaning windows, washing dishes for bartenders, to running a refill out for a busy co-worker.

Worked up from Host to Server. Back server and Take-out managed the food line, making sure food went out correctly and in an efficient manner. This position required the ability to communicate among not only the servers, but the cooks as well. The back server was the logistics management of the front of the house side of the kitchen. In addition to the job requirements I also worked with the training team to train new back servers.

It was required that I walk two dogs once every day, Monday-Friday, of the month, while Tamara and her husband Erik were at work. I was entrusted with their house keys. On occasion I would be asked to take further care of them if they want on a weekend trip somewhere.
