Stephen received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon in 2015 and also studied at the Institute for Computational Design and Construction (ICD) as a visiting student. While there, he contributed to the construction of the 2013/2014 Research Pavilion and played a key role in the design of the 2014 Leichtbau BW Installation.
Since September 2020, he has practiced at CO Architects working on the UCI Medical Center in Irvine, CA. He focused on exterior design and documentation as well as structural coordination.
Stephen was previously the Project Architect for Speranza Architecture + Urban Design. Prior to joining SA+UD, Stephen was the Studio Design Computation Leader at NBBJ's Columbus, Ohio office. He has also worked for Office of Architecture in Brooklyn, NY.
He has been a studio instructor at the University of Oregon and a guest critic at The Ohio State University. In Summer 2016, he hosted a workshop for the LCABCN Urban Design Program in Barcelona, Spain as a visiting professional.
Stephen is a Registered Architect licensed in the State of Oregon.
