Contract Magazine - Inspirations Award, 1st Place

Contract Magazine recognized two top winners in the built environment category, each of which received a $5,000 cash award from Tandus as a donation to the cause that their project work supported. Tsoi/Kobus & Associates teamed with Commodore Builders and Cambridge Family & Children’s Service on “Community Build,” a project to renovate the basement and backyard of Putnam Place, a group home for boys aged 16-19 who are moving toward independent living. The renovation, which will include a lounge, music studio, woodworking shop, study space and laundry room.

Boston Business Journal - Green Business Award, Innovation, Award

Tsoi/Kobus & Associates was awarded a 2010 Green Business Award by The Boston Business Journal for “The Cost of LEED”, a database designed to help architects, designers, builders, and clients better understand the true costs of LEED certification and make informed decisions about sustainable strategies. The two-year study was initiated in 2008 and published in 2010 by BuildingGreen.
