About

I'm Brett, an active, young professional in architecture just beginning to establish myself in the AEC industry. I'm a very career-minded Intern Architect on the verge of being licensed.

Personally, I view architecture as the perfect vehicle to allow me to most fully challenge myself in a professional environment. My draw to the profession revolves around the tremendous and rewarding role that architects play in the larger AEC industry. I have a great appreciation for  the wide range of creative, technical, and managerial skills that this role requires and my passion is developing these skills to their fullest.

Also, I am a strong believer in the implementation of BIM project workflows and that sustainability should not be an afterthought in the design process. The consequences of design decisions as they relate to sustainability should be examined as an integral part of every design, period.

Currently, I work for a small architecture and planning firm in downtown Milwaukee, which happens to be an incredible city. I live downtown as well, which is a great setting for any young professional with a work hard, play hard attitude.
