My Intent

To continually improve my knowledge of design and fabrication in order to better

understand how the parts and pieces can fit together to form the spatial experience.

I would summarize myself as a very detail oriented person, a perfectionist, if you will. I have a passion for making things with my hands, tools, and being able to fabricate anything I need. I love boats and being near or on the water, it's something I was brought up around as a kid and something that will always be with me. Although I was born and raised in Florida, I'm a Tennessee boy at heart. I have a lot of family in the Nashville, Tennessee area and eventually want to work and live in either the Nashville or Knoxville areas. After completing my Masters in Architecture, I want to learn the working side of architecture and eventually get my license to practice.

University of South Florida, Saint Petersburg, FL, US, Assistant Dockmaster

As an assistant dockmaster at the St. Pete campus, I work closely with our fleet of sail and power boats to repair and maintain them. Recently we did a complete overhaul of a J24 which is a 24' day sailor/race boat, inside and out. Fabricating parts, building intricate sail racks, maintaining small outboard motors and inboard gas and diesel engines, fiberglass repair, general dock maintenance, and power boat operation and rescue (FL state and Federally certified) is most of what I do at the USFSP Waterfront.
