Managed the day to day aspects of a full remodel of a unit in a condominium in the South Beach area of San Francisco. Dealing with scheduling, subcontractors, and clients was crucial in making sure things were being done on time and with the schedule. This required me to be onsite overseeing work being done almost 100% of the time. I was also in charge of all administrative duties. When necessary, I would take measurements and produce drawings, both by hand and in AutoCAD, sometimes a rendering.
Arevalo Arquitectura y Construccion, Reñaca, CL, Drafter
In collaboration with the architect, I assisted the laying out of plans for the renovation of two old restaurants that would be combined into one large hostel in Reñaca, Chile. This required taking on site measurements and sketches in order to relay the information in AutoCAD. Plans, sections, and elevations were drawn up by myself and then reviewed by the architect. With this project, I went through all stages required for submittal, from calculating room and building occupancies to determining the percentage of constructability allowed for the site, to the municipality for review. Also assisted in the spacial planning of two restaurants; work included measuring out spaces on site and updating existing drawings, seeing as both would occupy existing buildings.
