As a graduate of the Southern University School of Architecture, completing my studies with a 3.0 GPA, therefore receiving a Professional Bachelor's degree in Architecture, I would like to use this position to gain the knowledge and experience needed to complete my Intern Development Program experience hours. As an intern, I would also like to continue my preparation for the Architecture Registration Exam and possibly retain a position with the firm after receiving my license. I am also studying for LEED Green Assoc. and possibly LEED BD+C. My academic background coupled with my relevant work experience has given me the tools and abilities necessary to add value to the position, and ultimately your corporation.

In addition to the knowledge I have obtained at Southern University, I also received my Associate of Architecture degree from Delgado Community College. This level of education assisted in the development of my current technical knowledge in drafting which opened the door to work as a Draftsman for a Principal Architect at Hewitt-Washington & Associates in New Orleans.

I have worked for a few different firms as a Designer/Draftsman or Architect Intern. As a part of my responsibilities, I worked alongside an Engineer at EJA Partners, LLC; as well as a larger studio environment at Manning Architects in New Orleans and Dallas. Projects I have been involved with in some form are: New Orleans East Hospital, Ruth's Chris Steak House, New Orleans Arena 2012 Renovations, St. David Catholic School Gym and Classroom Building, Pinnacle L'auberge Hotel and Casino, and DFW International Airport: Terminal A.
