PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
2010 – Present // Founding Partner of E s t u d i o A l t i p l a n o
- altiplano is an architectural office founded in company with Pedro Aparicio, Felipe
Velasquez and Felipe Guerra. The studio approaches architecture as a spatial/creative
practice and shares a strong belief in collective work.
2012 - Venice Biennale 2012
- altiplano is invited to participate in the collateral event of the Biennale di Venezia,
Traces of Centuries and Future Steps with the intervention “There is nothing new under
the sun”.
2011 – 2013 (Building) Edificio Bell 134A Bogotá, Colombia
- altiplano designs a residential building in the north of Bogotá. The office did all the
construction drawings and details. We also substituted monthly visits to the building
during the construction process.
2011 – First Prize* competition “ Buena Arquitectura Excelente Pedagogía”.
- altiplano designs two different school prototypes (steel & wood). There will be 1,300
all over Colombia. Spreading through the Andean, Atlantic, Pacific and Amazon
Region.
2012 – Pedro Domecq Headquarters in Bogotá, Colombia
- altiplano designs and constructs Pedro Domecq Headquarters. A 5,000 square feet
warehouse office space in the outskirts of Bogotá.
2012 – Apartment G_ Penthouse in Bogotá, Colombia
- altiplano designs and constructs a duplex penthouse. A 4,500 square feet penthouse
was the resulting combination of what were originally 3 different apartments.
2011 – Yokohama Headquarters in Bogotá, Colombia
- altiplano designs and constructs the Yokohama Headquarters. A 2,700 square feet
office space in the north of Bogotá.
