As a graduate student at the Columbia University for Advanced Architectural Design, my academic background, coupled with my relevant work experience, has given me the tools and ability necessary as an architect. In addition to the knowledge I have obtained from my education, my experience as a designer within the professional field provides me with an excellent background in the practical aspects of architecture. I have 5 years of work experience in the Middle East working for different offices for a wide range of design scales including small-scale and large-scale residential, commercial, and cultural projects. During my years at different architectural offices I have taken varied responsibilities including schematic design, design development, and site supervision. In addition, I have the ability to work both independently and within a team framework.
