About 

Mr. Guevremont (Bill) is a highly qualified executive with experience in architectural design and management of major construction projects. Before his tenure at the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, Bill provided design services for several firms in Portland, Oregon, San Diego California, and Anchorage, Alaska designing and providing construction administration services for hospitals, high tech facilities, large retail / grocery stores, offices, and facilities in arctic environments.

In addition to his experience with architectural design and construction administration services, he has carried out the wishes of his tribal nation (MPTN) in regards to implementing the first ever tribal building regulatory Commission and tribal occupational safety & health administration (TOSHA) in Indian Country. He has lead a 'revolution to uphold the highest quality and safety standards in the Native American Gaming Industry'. His positive outlook and uncompromising attitude toward excellence in design and construction has resulted in a large net savings to Foxwoods in the tens of millions of dollars.

He has also been an innovator of new ideas regarding improvements to facilities regarding life cycle usage as well as dedication to the assurance of high quality design, construction, and patron and worker safety while making sure the bottom-line is not compromised.

• Established and managed a state of the art regulated construction projects and safety operation into a fully accountable, holistic program saving the Tribal Nation over $250M in budget savings over 14yrs. Based on previous knowledge as an architect and implementation of state and federal minimum codes, regulations, and policies.

• Managed and achieved $125M in budget, time, and construction projects re-work savings. Eliminated the formerly constant need to rectify construction projects issues caused by lack of implementation of solid construction industry knowledge, poor design, poor construction management and state and federal safety standards.

• Management oversight of all new and renovation construction projects - permitting, testing, and inspections across all Tribal Properties’ and Gaming Enterprises. A massive, ongoing, $2B design, build, development, and construction program budget with (7) knowledgeable direct reports and responsibility for over
40,000 customers and members per day.

• Managed the deployment and budget of the first ever forensic construction architecture engineering analysis of poor projects design and construction management work. Responsible for complete follow through in legal proceedings ultimately recouping $millions for rework budgets.

• 10year standing member of Community Planning Committee as key knowledge base for construction, real estate acquisitions, and dispositions. Responsible for compiling scope of work for architects and contractors while ensuring their performance through the Land Use Commission.

• Responsible for assessing the physical condition of all facilities and issued reports of recommended fixes and or status.

• Created and implemented first ever Construction In Process (CIP) program for tribe.
