I graduated in May 2012 from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design (CIDA accredited), secondary major in Gerontology, and a minor in Business Administration. While in school, I enjoyed serving as the Student Chapter President of IIDA and a student co-chair for the Interior Design Symposium.I am currently a Planning and Strategies Intern at Perkins+Will in New York.

I worked with multiple project teams in the Planning + Strategies department and also assisted the Interiors Team. As an intern, I had the opportunity to help with strategic workspace planning as well as campus and academic planning. At Perkins + Will, I gained experience working in a professional office environment, participating in meetings with clients, preparing presentations and conducting market research. My daily responsibilities include creating diagrams and charts using Illustrator and Microsoft EXCEL, creating CAD drawings, researching market sectors, gathering and analyzing data/metrics, assisting in developing bench-marking data, space planning, and creating test-fits.
