Hello my name is Ricardo Rocha, I am a recent graduate of Design from California State University Long Beach. I have always been captivated by design and architecture, as these two disciplines primarily shape the environment we live on. I work in the retail sector, enjoy visiting museums, i appreciate great design and architecture and going on road trips. I am a sports fan, specially of football and baseball. I would like to design for the retail and museum (cultural) sectors of the industry.

While at Target i have performed nearly all aspects of retail, whether being on a register, assisting guests finding products, managing a team and assisting with store operations. My main job currently entails auditing for price compliance in order to perform and excel guest satisfaction and drive sales.

I interned at the Architecture & Design Museum Los Angeles while working on my Design thesis. At A+D, I learned basic museum operations, I also helped setting and taking down exhibits and assisted with designing museum stationary for rotating exhibits.

Under the design program at CSULB, I learned a variety of disciplines such as; interior design, environmental design, graphic design, display and exhibitions. Some of the skills i learned are Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, SketchUP.

While at cerritos college, i began my undergraduate career. My focus then was architecture, here i learned AutCAD 2d and 3d. I was exposed to architectural drafting and modeling.
