About

As certified architect I earned my degree at the renowned University of Applied Sciences Anhalt in Bauhausstadt Dessau. My major subject was Heritage Conservation. I am a big fan of all Bauhaus buildings in Dessau, Weimar and Berlin, especially the settlement of Bauhausbuildings in Dessau-Törten or the former Dessau Job Centre designed by Walter Gropius have inspired me to take on the major subject of Heritage Conservation.
My major subject thesis was designated to the Rosslau Town Bath, which was built in 1929-30, designed by Erich Kurt Elster. It includes a complete documentation of the building (finishing schedule), research about work and life of local architect Erich Kurt Elster and plan for restoration and conversion of the building. It also contains a proposal for an improved urban development of the surrounding area.
Since October 2007, I have been working for Ruch Architekten AG in Meiringen, Switzerland. I am responsible preliminary design studies, planning applications, implementation plans and assistant construction management. My working experience includes a couple heritage conservation projects but the majority of projects I have been involved in are dedicated to high comfort energy saving building projects.
