Co-curated and displayed work in a special exhibition of exemplery undergraduate thesis projects as an extension of SCI-Arc’s 40th anniversery celebration and in conjunction with LA Art Walk.
In the summer of 2012 I studied abroad in Japan for three months focusing on the Tsunami effected areas of the Tohoku region and different rebuilding strategies. Working with different simulation technologies, various design approaches were tested with the help of engineering consultants Bechtel and Arup.
Interested in contemporary fabrication techniques and emerging materials, my experience with robotics has lead to a curiosity about the intersection between the digital, architecture and the human body.
