Architecture and design should engage issues of culture and consciousness, materiality and emotion. Architecture in particular is inspired by context, whether the context is cultural, historical or a product of the brief itself. This approach creates designs which are bespoke, responsive and unique.

Profile

Paul Merrick is involved in Architectural design, Interior design, Urban Planning and product design. Prior experience broadly covers all aspects of building projects from inception through to brief development and from conceptual design through to developed design and construction documentation.

Bio

Paul Merrick studied at the  University of Westminster and Oxford Brookes before embarking on a succesful career working as a Design Architect. Paul has worked at all scales from Urban Planning in China and Abu Dhabi through to bespoke interiors in HK and the UK
