Extravagant folly/playspace located on a bluff of a rural farm overlooking the Hudson River. Included oversized custom lounging and climbing nets, a custom stainless steel slide, a desk, two fire pole escapes, and a translucent polycarbonate clubhouse.

Women’s Opportunity Center, Rwanda, Africa
A hectare multiple building vocational training facility in Rwanda, Africa for the international NGO Women for Women International. The facility included multiple new classrooms, staff and guest lodging, cafeteria, market, administration, and a demonstration farm. The construction of the compound was completed utilizing field-‐ kiln-‐fired, sand-‐molded bricks made by the future women enrollees. Utilities included rain water collection and a drinking water purification system.

engineered to Miami/Dade Hurricane standards including all rated glazing and openings. The project featured a new salt/chlorine pool, detailed landscaping, and was designed to highlight an extensive art collection.
Penthouse Renovation and Addition, Upper West Side, New York City
Gut renovation of a 2500 sq/ft penthouse apartment including a new stair/bulkhead for roof access to 1500 sq/ft of roof deck and garden structures. Landmarks Preservation Full Commission approval required.
Mid Century House Renovation and Additions, Poundridge, New York
Extensive renovation of an existing 2500 sq/ft 1950’s case study style home. The project included two new wings for the house for an additional 2500 sq/ft; as well as a new pool and landscaping.
Beach Front House Renovation and Addition, Belle Harbor, Queens
Gut renovation to the framing of a 2500 sq/ft home with the addition of a new third floor. The new home includes multiple exterior decks, a new pool and hot tub, screening room, and expansive views of the ocean and the beach from all rooms in the house.

Gut renovation of a 4500 sq/ft loft in the historic Tribeca neighborhood of New York City combining two separate floors and a mezzanine into one duplex apartment. Landmarks Preservation approval required.

Project strategies included off-site fabrication, straw bale SIP construction, geothermal heating, cistern collected grey water, solar roof paneling, and the implementation of materials such as cork, recycled glass/concrete, and permeable paving.
Long Sands Residence, York, Maine
1500 sq/ft new construction beach home situated near a frontal sand dune. Site conditions stipulated a helical anchor foundation and a compact plan that sits up one story off the ground. The three story elevated volume offered views of the ocean from each floor and included a vacuum elevator for vertical circulation.
Montauk Residence, Montauk, New York
Substantial renovation of 3000 sq/ft vacation home and adjacent 750 sq/ft cottage. The project featured hydronic radiant heating, cast glass glowing counter-tops, and a new roof deck and addition for the cottage.
