I am currently in the final stages of my final project for my Bachelor and Master degree in Architecture at University Polytechnic of Madrid. My architecture degree enabled me to acquire knowledge not only of architecture design but also in areas of urban design, landscape, construction, and structures.
The first year of my Master’s program was done in Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago. American education and cultural system allowed me to obtain valuable computer skills that I integrated to my previous European knowledge. During this period of time we designed and built the Mies van der Rohe associations pavilion at the Farnsworth House. In parallel to my Urban planning diploma in Spain, enrolled to additional sustainability courses at Chicago.
During that year I also had the opportunity to work as an intern at an Architectural firm (Forma Architecture). Innovative design, construction management and the real steps taken for the construction of a project, were requirements deeply embedded in this firm. Responsibility and a positive attitude for team work was fundamental.
I am ready to take the next step in my architectural carrier and gain firsthand experience abroad to expand my knowledge.
I am a very active and enthusiastic person who doesn't procrastinate as well as a fast learner. I also have prior experience of working in teams, producing under high pressure, and have always shown a proactive attitude and excellent communication skills.
In addition to coursework, my prior work experience has demonstrated my ability to transform challenging problems into creative and successful output.
