Dimitris Rizos was born in Lamia, Greece. He Graduated from the Architectural School of the National Technical University of Athens (N.T.U.A) in 1989.
He is also Graduate Educational Technologist Civil Engineer of A.S.E.TE.M. S.E.L.E.T.E. of Athens, Graduate Topographer Foreman of Δ.T.E. and also graduated from the Pedagogic School of S.E.L.E.T.E. of Athens and the Maraslios Pedagogic Academy of Athens.
He is specialised in Bioclimatic Architecture and in light metal and wooden diaphragmatic manufactures (Timber Frame). He lives and works in Athens.
He is involved in geothermic, school architecture and reconstruction of traditional and historical buildings. Besides architecture he devotes time to photography and painting, he gives lectures to universities, schools, congresses etc.
