Bradley Mallette is an Intern Architect at Omgivning Architects.  The up-and-coming firm began in 2009 and is located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles.  They specializes a wide range of projects types including: hotels, large nightclubs, neighborhood restaurants, historic theaters, adaptive reuse, new construction housing, furniture design, and creative office interiors.  Omgivning was recently award a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument, the Herald Examiner Building, designed by Julia Morgan in 1914.  Brad is currently working on the redevelopment of the Case Hotel.  This 13-story building was constructed in 1927 as a gentlemen's athletic club.  Today, it is being revitalized into a high-end boutique hotel with restaurant and bars located in the lobby and on the rooftop.

Brad interned at Levin & Associates before joining Omgivning.  During his brief seven months at the firm, he worked on renovations to Dodger Stadium and the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre as well as master planning for Oakwood School and Tenant Standards for the Grand Central Market.

Brad hails from the great state of Mississippi, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from Mississippi State University's School of Architecture and a minor in General Business Administration.  He is working towards his architectural license, and he intends to obtain it within the next 2 years.

Along side Brad's professional career in architecture, is a great passion for the art of music.  He played guitar and sang throughout his high school and college years, and continues to do so in Los Angeles.  Brad is constantly weaving his architectural and musical talents together in order to explore new ideas.  He last blended these two talents to design his thesis project, a 1250 seat performance hall in the heart of downtown Jackson, MS.  The hall is intended to be the home for the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra as well as a venue for other performing artists.
