With an inspired eye, I continuously examine my surroundings for design ideas. My portfolio of work shows my eclectic tastes and experiences abroad. Evident in my projects and work ethic, is my personal background growing up on a farm in rural Iowa. While working under Robert Couturier as an intern, I developed knowledge of the D&D, and other interior design resources specific to New York City. With these experiences I will be an honest, hard working employee that is always up for a challenge.

For the past four years I have been working towards a degree in a CIDA accredited interior design program. Along with my studies I am involved in organizations and have acquired ambassador positions through Iowa State University. These experiences allowed me to practice time management, leadership and presentation skills.
Through the Interior Design and Textile programs at Iowa State University I continuously increase my proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit Architecture, Sketch-up, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. In addition I have strong communication skills from team projects. Studying internationally has helped to add richness and maturity to my design style. A recent trip to Paris, France was based around experiencing Maison et Objet and choosing pieces for a conceptual high-end residential project to enhance my portfolio.
