Project Manager Gas Transmission - Project Engineering and Management

Managed all aspects of gas transmission projects, both station and pipeline, for projects ranging from $500,000 to $3M. PG&E project management processes and internal database skills and experience to date include: defining and managing project stakeholders, Primavera P6 scheduling software, PSRS database management and financial forecasting, GC forecasting, and EDRS document routing.

ATI Architects + Engineers, Danville, CA, US, Project Manager

Project Manager Construction Services and Engineering Divisions. Responsibilities at ATI include the overseeing and management of specific projects including governmental, telecom, photovoltaic, educational and commercial projects with an emphasis on design oversight and construction management.

Projects at ATI include the following:

Owner's Representative on Negotiated Construction Management Contract for $2M tenant improvement build out of Casino and restaurant. Management of extensive mechanical/HVAC system, and structural system design changes, as well as LED lighting.
Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co. – Fast Track Design-Build project management of various projects including: mechanical and electrical upgrades, laboratory relocations, pressure vessel installations, structural retrofits, underground gas line replacements, office tenant improvements and restroom modernizations. Projects from $500,000 to $1.5M in construction value.
Telecom projects – Project management of various cell sites for Verizon, Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile on city buildings and at school DSA and OSHPD sites. Tasks include writing proposals, overseeing and coordinating design, and aiding the customer in securing city permits or certification from the Department of State Architects and/or OSHPD.
San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District – Project management and construction coordination of a $ 3.4 million, 7,715 sq. ft. fully inhabitable, fully functioning Fire Station, complete with: full kitchen, day room, 4 bathrooms, 6 dorm rooms, lobby, communications center, gymnasium, fire truck apparatus bay, fueling station and truck wash. Project was wood frame construction with a stucco exterior.
Miramonte High School HVAC and fire alarm project - Acalanes Union High School District - $ 4.2 million construction value. Responsibilities included: running weekly construction meetings, taking and updating weekly meeting minutes, responding to RFI’s, reviewing submittals, issuing design documents, interpreting drawings and specifications, review and analysis of all proposed change orders, updating logs, responding to all construction-related issues in the field, reviewing contractor payment applications and writing all contract change orders, as well as overall contract management.
Diablo Vista Middle School Gymnasium - $ 5.2 million concrete tilt-up gymnasium, locker rooms and PE offices building. Responsible for all construction management duties and documentation listed above. Ran weekly construction meetings as design/construction representative.
Bedford Plaza Additions and Renovations - $ 4.9 million strip mall renovation and tilt-up addition for Charter Properties. Responsible for all construction management duties and documentation. Served as on-site liason between designer and contractor, and ran weekly construction meetings.
Miramonte HS Field Renovations and Maintenance Building - $ 5.9 million baseball and softball field renovations, tennis courts, batting cages and maintenance building additions. Responsible for all construction management duties and documentation. listed above.

Rudolph & Sletten, Inc. / San-Marin Construction, Santa Clara, CA, US, Project Engineer

Project Engineer contracted through San-Marin Construction on a multi-building OSHPD hospital project for Kaiser in Santa Clara, California. Main focus of responsibility included managing doors, frames and hardware for over 850 doors and windows. Management responsibilities included writing letters of authorization, subcontract writing, requests for quotations, and many requests for information and potential change orders. Responsible for all project engineering duties relating to several MEP subcontractors to build a service yard which contained emergency generators, an underground fuel oil system, cooling towers, a sanitary sewer system, a storm water system and a loading dock.

Project Engineer on a University of California Berkeley historic restoration and seismic retrofit project. Responsible for managing subcontracts totaling 23% of an $80 million contract value. Member of staff engineering team responsible for managing subcontract risk for various trades, such as miscellaneous metals, wood restoration, drywall, paint, acoustical ceiling, flooring and architectural signage. Duties included extensive change order management, scope change definition and RFI management, submittal processing and management, budget control and budget reporting as well as subcontract administration, buyout, and frequent owner/architect and CM contact on construction related problem resolution. Responsible for all on-site, field related project engineering duties including RFI management, submittal management, and change order management on Santa Clara University’s new event center and sports arena. Duties included frequent contact with University officials concerning schedule and budget adherence, as well as value engineering discussions with the architect and engineer of record, and permit expedition.

Project Engineer with PDM St. Croix, U.S.V.I. Performed field engineering duties on various tank repair projects at Hess Oil Virgin Islands Corporation.
International Project Management and Operations group in Houston, Texas. Assisted with various Latin American projects including project startup of a multi-tank mining facility in the Northern mountains of Chili, South America.
Project Management duties at PDM BRIDGE, Eau Claire, Wisconsin which included coordination of shop detail drawings for plant fabrication as well as bridge project coordination and communications with bridge erection contractors concerning construction and site delivery.
Project Engineer on-site during construction of a 15,000 ton Ammonia storage tank and loading facility which included supervision and coordination of civil, mechanical, and electrical sub-contractors in completing their work on the foundation heating system, refrigeration system, ammonia pumps, compressor building, truck and rail car loading stations, as well as numerous piping and instrumentation systems.
