Shota Dzagnidze short Bio.
I was born in capital of Georgia Tbilisi, in doctor’s family on 20th of August 1985.
After secondary school I attended Tbilisi Arts and Crafts College for 2 years, after which I entered Faculty of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design in Technical University of Georgia and I graduatted whith BAhons in architector.
Since 2007 I was working as an architectural assistant in large practice until 2008 and from 2008 to 2011 worked as a architectural planning officer in Tbilisi City Hall architectural department of mayor’s office.
I was in the group of 8 architecture students from Tbilisi, Georgia, to participate in London Festival Of architecture 2008.
In 2012 I decided to take further studies in architecture and I entered Tbilisi Georgian Technical University Urban Planning and Design faculty for master’s degree, which I graduated with Diploma in Architecture.
Currently I am working on thesis - “Rehabilitation of Degraded Spaces in Tbilisi” within my 2nd year of PhD course at Georgian Technical University.
I have participated in many urban planning and architectural competition locally and internationally during past few years. My current activities also include seminars and lectures at different architectural board’s nationwide promoting sustainable architecture and urban planning at micro and macro scales.
