Currently I am finishing my undergraduate studies in architecture at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. One of my main goals in life is to further my education. I gained this ambition through my parents who came from Durango, Mexico to the United States when I was very young. I learned through them that if you want a better life you must always work hard and never give up. Furthermore, I believe that doing the little things are what makes the big things come together. I like to focus on the details when trying to achieve many goals in my life. I learned this lesson from working in the construction field: the small things make a building come to life.
