Benoît Vandeputte (1989) was born in Ostend and lives in Ghent (Belgium). He earned his masters degree in Architecture in 2013, after studies at LUCA School of Arts – Dept. St-Lucas Architecture ( KU LEUVEN – Faculteit Architectuur ) (Belgium) and exchanges with the Bauhaus Universität Weimar (Germany) and the University of Cincinnati – Dept. of Architecture, Art and Planning (United States of America). Afterwards he completed an additional master's degree in Conservation of Monuments and Sites at the Raymond Lemaire International Centre of Conservation (KULeuven). His thesis "Henry van de Velde in Astene - Dr. Martens' polyclinic and Villa Landing" was rewarded in 2017 with the thesis prize of East Flanders. His broad range of interests goes from architecture, interior – and garden design over fine arts and photography to design, furniture and creative entrepreneurship.
