I am Laura Della Sala, an italian architect graduated summa cum laude in Architecture in Rome at RomaTre University of Architecture.
I am currently working on the publication of my degree thesis in a collection about architecture in the archeology (“Archeologia e progetto”) and collaborating with Arch. Luigi Franciosini, architect and professor at Roma Tre University, on a cemetery manual.
During my academic career I had the chance to challenge my self in several different international environments and to work with professionals from many different European countries and from the U.S.

The Barcelona European Landscape Biennial expresses its desire to intently study and discuss landscape interventions, from the perspective of all disciplines that are linked to its study and evolution.
My degree thesis projet was selected to attend this competition and the work was exhibited at Barcellona's COAC office on September 2012 and in other european Universities.

The contest aim was to realize the Imperial Museum of the Roman age.
Villa Adriana is one of the most important villas of the Roman Imperial Age.
In particular the area of the Pretorio has its peculiarity in the secular olive trees which stands above the archaeology.
The strategy of the intervention is to give a new function to such olive tree grove.
