I am a passionate designer with a work ethic to match. Assisted the Chief of Interior Design with the back checking of numerous projects to ensure revisions were up to date and accurate. Aided in the selection of appropriate finishes for project completion. Organized, maintained, and updated the resource library.
Design Services: Selected finishes appropriate for the design of health facilities that included hospitals, dental offices, and veterinary clinics.
Project Maintenance: Updated SID and CID binders and back checked architectural drawings for accuracy.

Professionally assisted clients throughout the furniture gallery to identify needs. When necessary, created floor plans, elevations, and perspectives of client’s rooms to create a complete visual product. Followed up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with their purchases.

Acted as the design assistant to the owner and head designer of Sherrie Swass Interiors. Aided in the design process and implementation for numerous residential and commercial clients.
Custom Art: Created customized art for clients based on their requests and needs.
Material Research: Aided in material research for numerous residential and commercial projects that included tile, flooring, window coverings, and art.
Showroom Responsibility: Was responsible for the security and maintenance of the designer’s showroom and developed a new organizational system for the resource library.

I spent 4.5 years studying Interior Design at the University of Nevada, Reno where I took 51 credits in design courses. In addition to my design degree, I also have a minor in Studio Art, which I found very helpful in conjunction with my design coursework. I excelled in all of my courses and graduated with a 3.35 GPA. Throughout the duration of my education I knew that I was studying the exact subjects in which I would one day make a career.
