Andreas Chadzis is an Architect and a member of the Greek Technical Chamber. He holds a five-year professional degree in Architecture and Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and a Master of Architecture in Architecture and Urbanism from the Architectural Association in London having previously awarded for his ethos and his academic achievements.
He won numerous international competitions including the International Competition for Automatic Architecture ( Ditec – Ducati Official Sponsor ), the Mediterranean Competition for Sustainable Architecture ( Sponsored by the Aluminum Industries ), the 2nd Competition of Kinetic Art (Florida), the 1st and 3rd National Industrial Design Competition (sponsored by the Greek furniture Industries) and the 1st International Robotics competition for alternative uses of Robotics (Sponsored by OzRobotics - Australia).
Andreas Taught advance Modelling, Inverse Kinematics and Scripting at the Architectural Association (Design Research Laboratory under Brett Steele, the Environment and Energy Program and at the Intermediate Unit 3 and worked in several practices including Ross Lovegrove, I.S.V. ( Ioannou - Sotiropoulos - Van Guilder ) and served at the Greek Military Force at the Mechanics Department designing multiple Military Structures.
His work/research has been exhibited in several European countries including the Netherlands (1st Architecture Biennale, Mobile, a room with a view, Rotterdam and Art in Motion Biennale-Amsterdam), United Kingdom (AA Architectural Association), Greece (Zappeio Megaro, Megaro Kazouli, Storehouse D (Port of Salonika) etc), Italy (Art Biennale in Florence) and published worldwide (Great Britain (AA publications), U.S.A. (Kinetic Design Group (Massachusetts Institute of Technology)), KAO web), Germany (Kineticus), Australia (OzRobotics), Greece (Architects-magazine, Kathimerini-newspaper, Men-magazine etc).
He now runs a five-person architecture practice in Rhodes with over of 250 projects over the last decade.
