Hello
      My name is Mihai Macavei, ?Until  the fall of 2012  I was a student ini Cluj Napoca at The  Utcn Architecture School, not a good experience after all. Now that the school  trauma has ended I look forward to begin my career.  I do have an acid  opinion of these school years because I had to learn by to much  by denying information from teachers.  We were programmed to be under-qualified, not to be competition for the  old  branch of architects  in a country which needs more architects/ square meter:) then it has.
    I do believe in a memetic structure of architectural practice. This mean that a lot of information is accepted  as valid just because others say so. Of course the process  has a viral character which is not challenged if not needed to. This what is happening in small architecture firms.
I want to be part of something bigger, more complex  and that's why I want to come to you. The bigger the company where I am employed the bigger the chance to participate in projects at the forefront  of today's architecture.
Apart  from my computer skills and love architecture I have some interests which are making  me see the problem of space a bit different than an architect.  I am interested on  sociology, psychology, anthropology   and I like to look to an architectural proposal from these three angles. On the other hand physics \ cosmology  is another thing that fascinates me. My projects have a bit of every of these interests in them. Of course in this process I add  a bit of art and this is it.
I don't like to do this alone. In a way I am a "team builder" - I like , I need feedback and I give feedback.  I like authority as long as it is constructive, otherwise I like to assume it. In a team I know which my place is and I like to make the most of it. I also like to give the most from my position. In a concept design project I like  being the team leader but only if I understand the concept or it is my idea. If so I am not deaf to the teams ideas.  In fact I believe that a final product is not a idea but a collection of ideas that go well together.

I do like  and need to  share information with  the  team

I  also like to heave a clear time table,  and i like to fallow it. More, organising a team in such a fashion  is crucial  for a team  leader.  I am a creative spirit  and i don't want to create allone.

Architectural design from contest  concepts to technical plans in some degree. I do have some work experience but i can't certify it, architectural and design visualization

Archicad, Revit, 3dsmax, vray, grasshopper, rinoceros, photoshop, indesign illistrator, autocad,lumion, artlantis,maxwell renderer,z brush, wings 3d

other things about me 

Drawing, , and wood sculpting are some of mi interests, and now digital sculpting with z brush
I also like drums if given the chance

I do have a fair  knowledge of  Shotokan( japanese martial art) and kyoko shin kay but dew to an accident i was forced to stop.

I like playing drums if i have the chance

2010  interview  for transfer to AA school of architecture not finalised  because o lack of money and late apply
2010 winner of the fall competition  of architects jury ( Grfisoft sponsored contest)
