About

With over eight years experience in architectural design, and having started my own architectural practice, I have exceptional skills and experience in planning, detailing, designing and coordinating projects. My excellent communication, public relations, problem-solving and leadership skills, combined with my deep knowledge of architectural codes, make me a highly valuable employer and team leader. Due to my CAD software skills I have been teaching since 2005.

I am a dynamic and ambitious architect with a strong interest in design and with experience in various projects and constructions such as: large and small residential buildings, interior design, landscape, urban planning, airports, stadiums, museums, office buildings and competitions; working on all these projects across four European countries. Since graduating from the University in Madrid (Spain) with a BS degree in Architecture, I have worked in several well-known architecture and design companies such as Foster and Partners and at the moment I’m a freelance architect.

Education

Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio, Madrid, ES, BArch, Architect

The Architecture Degree at Alfonso X el Sabio University is structured as three main areas of knowledge: Basic Sciences, Drawing, and Technology and Projects.

A series of disciplines complement these blocks, such as Restoration, Sustainable Design, Project Management and Town Planning Management, along with intensive training in languages and business skills.
The academic programme of Alfonso X el Sabio University focuses on fundamentals and on the contemporary, combining the creative and artistic side with technical and scientific skills, rather than following more ethereal and less functional educational models.

Optional elements in the study plan included specialisations in Project Management, Architecture Competitions, Town Planning Management, and Landscape and Garden Design.
