General Responsibilities: Develop a thorough understanding of Eames design principles and Foundation philosophy in order to give tours, educate visitors, and to help build overall foundation messaging.

The Eames Foundation celebrates the legacy of all things related to Ray and Charles Eames, famous mid-century designers, artists, teachers, architects, filmmakers, and photographers. The foundation's aim is to preserve and protect the Eames House and to provide educational experiences for guests.

The Eames House (Case Study #8) in Pacific Palisades was designed by Charles and Ray Eames between 1945-49. It is a fine example of mid-century modernism.

4. Malibu Villas residential remodel in Malibu, CA
Recent projects include:
1. A new $5.5 million Manhattan Beach House off The Strand in Manhattan
Beach, and
2. A new $9.9 million Equinox Fitness Studio in San Francisco
Both projects have met all client expectations and deadlines and are on budget.

General Responsibilities: Managing multiple projects through all design and administrative phases. My deliverables included feasibility, programming, and design packages, permitting packages, construction documentation, and bid packages. Point-of-contact during CA, answerable to Senior Associates for monthly project and budget reporting. Responsible for periodic architectural quality
control and drawing reviews.

Key milestones achieved:
1. Procured a difficult change of use and parking permit approval for a new
12,000 SF recording studio occupying a former storage facility located in
Burbank.
2. Procured planning and zoning administrator’s permit approvals for an
extremely challenging residential remodel located on a steep lot in the
Hollywood Hills.

General Responsibilities: Managing multiple projects through all phases, including project administration. Other responsibilities included establishing the office drawing templates for Archicad, vetting typical details, and updating the drawing standards for the office.

1. Yarra Terraces in Melbourne, Australia.
Key milestones achieved:
1. Completed Documentation of Clara Q, a 32-story residential tower with a
budget of $30M on schedule.
2. Obtained permit approval on Tip-Top, a 187-condo, multi-use $100M
development, which included a complex heritage overlay application.

General Responsibilities: Managing the timely delivery of construction document packages. Assisted with CA including coordination with consultants, dissemination, and issuing of all architectural drawings, including SK’s and RFI responses. Involved in bid leveling and value engineering exercises and meetings. Responsible for client presentations and apartment marketing packages.

Bates Smart Architecture & Interior Design, Melbourne, Victoria, AU, Architectural Documenter / Student Architect

Key Accomplishments: Successfully coordinated documentation on two multi-residential projects:
1. Convesso Concavo, a 45-story residential tower with a budget of $200
million. Responsible for the refinement and detailing of the curtain wall
glazing system.
2. 150 Clarendon, a 12-story luxury residential with penthouses with a
budget of $75 million.

General Responsibilities: Documentation, and assisting with CA. Including issuance of SK’s and RFI responses. Coordinating junior staff workflow. Worked with interior designers to deliver marketing packages, and coordinated with consultants.

Key Accomplishments: Successfully completed multiple hospitality remodels (bars, gambling venues, restaurants, community-sporting facilities) with project budgets between $1-3 million dollars.

General Responsibilities: Prepared client and key stakeholder design presentations, responsible for the timely delivery of architectural documentation packages. Assisted senior staff with construction administration on hospitality projects.

The Bachelor of Arts (Architecture) course now known as Bachelor of Design (Architecture) comprised cutting edge content from the latest research and is designed with a global perspective. The course placed an emphasis on real work applications, which allowed me to study architecture from day one.

During the course, my studies explored architectural ideas, history, philosophy, design and communication as well as building science and technology. The course was designed to meet the needs of students who ultimately intended to complete the Master of Architecture course and practise architecture.

Some of the units I studied included Austral-Asian Architecture, Architecture Design, Graphic and Coded Communication, Building Materials Science, Computer Aided Modelling and Construction and Structures.
