I am looking for a position in the capacity of an Architectural Designer/Planner/Urban Designer in the San Francisco Bay Area.
My professional experience has allowed me to deal with a variety of projects including interiors, hospitality, residential, recreational, landscape design, urban design, town planning, transportation, sports facilities and high rises to name a few. Thus, I am certain that I could give you valuable assistance in satisfying design project demands, managing key projects, and making a significant contribution to the firm’s profitability in a design and planning capacity. Being completely well versed with AutoCAD, Architectural Desktop, REVIT, MS Office, Sketch-up, GIS, Photoshop and Illustrator, I've worn a number of hats, including conceptual designing, master planning, preparing presentation drawings, meeting the client, preparing construction documents, etc. Also, I am extremely quick at learning new software programs and construction methods and this makes me adaptable to various design processes and project types.
I have a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Mumbai (Bombay) with First Class honors, having ranked Third in the entire state.
After graduating, I joined Gherzi Eastern Ltd-Mumbai, H.O. Zurich ( Switzerland ), where I have had a work experience as an in-house Architect for 4 years and as a free-lance architect, thereafter.
I have graduated with a Master's degree in the Urban Planning program from San Jose State University. A large part of my curriculum in the program involved working on Sustainable Urban Design solutions for the improvement of communities in collaboration with the city government of San Jose. The study also included providing Sustainable Parking solutions for future expansions in the city.

My work experience in the United States, includes working for 2 years in a firm in Santa Clara,Ca,which largely handles Govt. transportation and Urban design projects. My job involves designing transit centers and streetscapes, based on relevant building codes and urban design principles, developing on their construction documents and dealing with the concerned consultants.
Currently I am working for a firm in India as a Licensed Architect and Urban Planner, through telecommuting and frequent visits whenever required. However, I am keen on working for a firm in the San FranciscomBay Area, where I reside.
My high degree of motivation has been recognized by my employers who have quickly promoted me to positions of greater responsibility.
