I received my Master’s degree in Architecture in February 2008 (specializing in Building Construction)
but I also studied civil engineering for two years, which helps me a lot with the constructional part of the building process, which is inseparably connected with the design and architecture
During my seven-years career in two of the biggest architecture companies in Bulgaria and my six-year architectural education, I have worked both in the fields of architecture and interior design which provided me with a fundamental understanding of construction, structure and architectural mechanical systems. I participated in and headed a number of planning and design projects of different scale, and gained various professional knowledge and skills ranging from large scale architectural planning to small scale detail design. I also have extensive experience with sustainability in both practice and education. In 2012 I joined to Triple Green Building Group, LLC - a full service sustainability consulting and education company, national member of the U.S. Green Building Council. I also possess the highest degree in LEED - AP which inspires my green design.
In my capacity as an architect and consultant I have worked on numerous projects of national and international significance in different countries, for example Bulgaria, USA, Russia, Germany, Middle East etc. These international projects improved my communication skills in English and German at a professional level and also gave me the opportunity to have excellent computer skills to all main architecture programs. I've also been a Member of Chamber of Architects in Bulgaria (CAB) for over 3 years and since the beginning of this year I am a Member of Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). Now I want to move forward into a more professional career.
