Experienced and proficient project & team manager, interior and architectural designer with over 20 years experience in the industry, working for a variety of firms gaining insight into a diverse range of building types & sizes, clients, and processes.

Currently focused on high end residential, boutique hospitality, and specialized corporate projects. In the course of my career I have managed and designed projects ranging greatly in size and project type; from small renovations and new construction to multi-million dollar projects. My career has allowed me to be a significant part of projects across the spectrum of our profession; be the lead designer in numerous award winning projects; and manage teams within my office as well as across a spectrum of consultants and team members. I have successfully completed work in many sectors ranging from historic renovations, hospitality, multi-family, corporate offices, conference centers, multi-screen movie theaters, and retail among them.
Throughout my career, I have worked directly with clients during all stages of project design and implementation -- from initial marketing and interview presentations, to programming and design through construction administration. I have provided complete interior design services including finish, lighting, furniture and art selection, custom furniture design and installation. I believe a collaborative working environment, open to discussions on furthering innovative design is critical to producing successful projects of the highest quality. I have been successful at distilling each client’s unique needs, and recommending appropriate solutions. My approach to client relationships has allowed me to build long-term, trusting bonds that frequently result in repeat business.
The wide range of experiences gained through a diversity of project types and clients has allowed me to gain a unique depth of knowledge of the design and construction process. Each project has required working closely with a program or construction manager and/or directly with contractors to negotiate projects and resolve issues during construction. It is essential that I be attuned to the details of the projects I manage to ensure successful results and projects completed to the highest level of quality.

Project manager, design architect and interior designer for a new corporate headquarters, clinic & retail center for the sixteen location chain of eye care centers across Alabama. The project included a 10,000 SF retail center created to rebrand Schaeffer Eye Center, including new custom frame displays and millwork to serve as a prototype design for multiple locations.

Taylor & Miree Construction Corporate Office, Mountain Brook, Alabama
Project manager, design architect and interior designer for the 14,500 SF office building. The exterior of the building was designed to work with the historic context of Crestline Village. The interior office was designed with large open spaces for work and informal gathering, containing exposed steel trusses and clerestory windows.

ALAGASCO Technology Demonstration & Conference Center, Birmingham, Alabama.
Project manager, architectural designer and interior designer for this 6,000 square foot renovation of a historic railroad depot into a high tech conference and marketing center for the utility company. Project was certified LEED CI Gold and won AIA design awards at the local, state and regional levels as well as from the Alabama IIDA
