Community Planning.
Fifth Ward Community Redevelopment Corporation, Houston, TX, US, Project Development Assistant
I was an Intern Designer on a Community Rejuvenation Project in Houston's Historic Fifth Ward. Our focus was to start with one important corridor in this neighborhood in order to bring financial interest back to the community while providing support to current residents.
My duties included;
-Responsible for the conceptual design, budgeting and
Construction of an entry monument for Fifth Ward Community.
-Provided support in drafting CAD site plans of monuments
along with Photoshopped 3D mock-up renderings for
Presentation purposes.
-Worked with the project manager on various beautification and
community service projects.

I was a work study CAD Drafter and our focus was to prepare documents for the University of Houston's audit. This audit included an accurate representation of the actual size of the University in square footage and I was hired to provide support through my skills acquired while at school.
My duties included;
-Maintained and compiled space inventory records of the
Universities rooms and equipment.
-Posted totals to inventory records both by computer and
manually.
-Adjust errors in computation or count and verified clerical
computations against physical count of stock.
-Drafted building plans for the Universities state records.
-Responsible for working directly with school employees,staff
and students to update room type records accurately for the
University.
-Responsible for keeping University state records up to date.

-Selected for Study Abroad Program Summer 2012: The European Metropolis from Rome to Vienna.
