Yael Getz Schoen established YGS Design & Development,LLC in 2012 and has substantial experience in architectural design both nationally and internationally. Prior to YGS Design & Development, Yael Getz Schoen worked as an architect for Shepley Bulfinch where she was responsible for multiple phases of the design process in large scale projects. Her primary responsibility was overseeing the design and construction of a $90 million library building for the Queens university in Belfast Ireland.

She attended MIT real estate development masters program to complement the design with development skills ranging from site acquisition, financing, permitting, to property management.

She recieved her B.Arch in architecture and town planning, The Technion 2001 (Cum Laude) and her masters MSRED (Masters in Real Estate Development), MIT, 2011.

She is a licensed architect in Israel and in the united states (MA, NY), and active member of the American society of architects, accredited in leadership of energy and environmental design and holds an NCARB certificate.
