• Design security systems for the Pentagon during the Pentagon Renovation Program, including such systems as access control systems, intrusion detection systems and cctv.
• All drawings are done in AutoCAD 2006 Lite in accordance with MIL-STD-100.
• Assist in conducting site surveys in order to determine the security required.
• Was employed as the only cad operator for this project which includes such duties as design/draft drawings, maintain file system and history archive, see to correct format and standards and obtain appropriate approvals for final deliverance.

• Designed complex consoles for use in data retrieval and radar systems on worldwide naval contracts, using 3-D modeling software package Solidworks 98 Plus, and AutoCAD R13.
• All drawings conformed to MIL-STD-100F and ANSI Y14.5.
• Was involved in the machine process as an onsite inspector during fabrication.
• Checked entire packages to ensure they conform to specifications and standard drafting practices.
• Was involved in budgeting decisions and parts selection for projects.
• Maintained and created file systems both electronic and hard copy to ensure smooth work transition.

• Involved in evaluation and preparation of technical data packages (TDP'S) for the U.S. Army and other various contractors.
• Duties included the review of packages and authorizing ECP'S as needed to fit customer's requirements.
• Worked directly with vendors in ordering specific items that met requirements for the job needed.
• Was involved in refurbishing of U.S Army floor mounted air conditioners that were used in the Gulf War, which consisted of testing, diagnosing, repairing and filling with r134a refrigerant.

• Duties included the evaluation design review of incoming work, checking drawing packages in order to ensure they comply with specifications and standard drafting practices.

• Did cost estimating for job proposals, review of completed drawings for distribution and the training of new employees.
• Organized groups to effectively work together as a team to meet deadlines.
8/1990 – 9/1993 Senior Design Drafter
• Responsibilities included the preparation of end item drawings representative of U.S. Army Materiel using AutoCAD R12 and R13.
• Generation of camouflage design drawings/patterns for U.S. Army equipment, and the production of layouts and concept presentations in accordance with engineering direction.
