About

Graduating with a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Interior Design in 2009 from the Art Institute of California, San Diego. In addition to my design degree, I have an educational background from San Diego State University in International Business and Marketing with an emphasis in Russian Language and Culture. Though my studies at San Diego State, I developed a passion for understanding and deep admiration of worldly cultures and people. Traveling and exploring the world has led me to find much inspiration in various architectural and interior styles. From the many inspiring cultures that I have visited, I draw on my experiences to bring an international depth and richness to our team’s design style. It is through this synergy of disciplines that I approach design.

Design is only bound by our understanding of “what is.” Great design evolves from “what could be.” I believe that we are on the cusp of several paradigm shifts. I find it is in my nature to think outside of the box. My graduating thesis was a featured project for the school’s 2010 CIDA accreditation review. I pushed the boundaries of Interior Design by shifting American views on sustainable high-speed transportation by implementing tailored, user centric environments.

“We are interpreters – not merely translators between sender and receiver. What we say and how we say it makes a difference. If we want to speak to people, we need to know their language. In order to design for understanding, we need to understand design.” –unknown
