About 

Tânia Sofia Branquinho is an educator and designer with over ten years experience in Interior Design and Architecture.   She began teaching at the New York School of Interior Design as an Adjunct Professor in 2005 through 2011 while continuing to practice professionally.  She is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at Pratt Institute in the Graduate Architecture Department.
Her experience ranges from high end residential and retail to more recent large scale institutional projects at Rafael Viñoly Architects where she was the team leader on a 70,000 square meter airport project in Saudi Arabia.
Tânia completed her Master in Architecture at Pratt Institute in 2010, where she was a recipient of the American Institute of Architects Eleanor Allwork Scholarship and was awarded the Pratt Institute award of Excellence. She has conducted research with not for profit organizations in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil regarding the housing crises, social/political inclusivity and urban agricultural initiatives.
Post graduation she founded bN-studio where she continues to collaborate internationally with various studios on art installations and fabrication workshops, research and parametric methodology consulting as well as various on-going projects.
