I have spent the last 10 ½ years with David Evans and Associates, Inc. as a design technician. My main focus was on bridges, however I have on occasion gone out in the field with the survey crew when they needed a hand. I have also traveled around the state doing bridge inspections on railroad bridges. I have even done a Piping system for a launch platform for Vandenberg AF Base as well as steel structures for a project in Greece. I often had to work with Engineers throughout the company, sometimes without ever meeting face to face.
My qualifications include:
10 ½ years experience doing civil and structural work
Proficient with Autocad 2010 and Microstation XM & V8
Working knowledge of Civil 3D and InRoads
I have done some basemapping and alignment creation
I had to learn how to use different standards for projects based on client preference.
I am a detail oriented worker. Doing bridge design everything I drew had to be very accurate.

Over 10 years of expertise in Computer Aided Design and Detailing, specializing in bridge design, civil engineering, and CAD management. I am familiar with the Drafting and Detailing standards of several agencies in the Pacific Northwest, including ODOT, WSDOT, CalTrans, and TriMet.
