Armen Isagholi, registered architect, has over eight years of experience in his architectural career. As a Designer and Project Architect, he has worked on a variety of projects, which includes educational facilities, restaurants, libraries, athletic centers, commercial and residential projects. He is experienced in all phases of architectural design and construction, including site feasibility studies, master planning, design development, schematic design, coordination of construction documents, and the administration of projects under construction. He is skilled at many aspects in the architectural profession; his ability to coordinate and produce construction drawings using Revit or CAD, designs and creates layouts for presentation and marketing material with 2d graphic software, years of experience with working with consultants to coordinate through a set and his expertise with DSA and local authorities having jurisdiction, and prides himself with studying new sustainable technologies to expand his knowledge.
At his current position at gkkworks, Project Architect, he is working on two separate Charter Schools in the Los Angeles area with a few draftsmen on the team. Prior to joining gkkworks, Armen worked as a Job Captain for Osborn. He started his position as a Junior Designer at Osborn working on a variety of educational projects and moved up to Job Captain before leaving to Shook Kelley where he worked briefly on retail and ¬restaurant projects. Armen also worked as an Intern, at GM Architects, working on high end residential projects. His first position in his architectural career, hired by his 3rd year Studio professor, where he interned at his boutique firm working on residential and commercial projects.
In addition to his architectural experience, Armen has been actively working on certifying, through LEED and CHPS, a variety of educational projects. He is currently the LEED Team Manager for two schools, Charter School in Los Angeles (pursuing Silver) and LAUSD High School (pursuing Gold). Armen currently holds the LEED AP BD+C credential.
